MINISTRY TEAMSThe Ministry Teams are what guide and carry-out the work of the local church. We do our best to make sure everything CrossRoads is doing falls under the leadership and guidance of a Ministry Team in order to have oversight, accountability and cohesion with the Vision.
Each Ministry Team contains an Elder or Staff Member working along side other members of the Ministry Teams from the church.

Community should be organic but it's not.
Community is suffering.
Groups are our intentional way of redirecting people back to community, recreating the example we see in the book of Acts - gathering, studying, praying, eating, discipling and taking care of one another.
Community is a huge part of our walk with Jesus. It isn't something we need BECAUSE we live in a broken world. It has been the plan from the beginning. God made us with the desire for authentic relationships that we pour ourselves into, not for our own sake, but for the sake of others.
However, now, because the world is fallen and needs to know The Gospel, we need relationships with Christ-followers to encourage us as we do our best to fulfill Jesus' instructions of telling the world about God's love for them and allowing God to use us in fulfilling the mission of reconciliation between Man and God.
Jesus had people He devoted himself to while here on earth. And God desires for His Church to continue devoting themselves to one another. Our groups are focused on doing exactly this. We want people to have the proper mindset coming into Group Life. Although very beneficial for yourself when in times of need, the reason for being a part of a group is to be the hands, feet and light of Jesus in the lives of one another, through the acts of preparing meals, praying, opening God's Word, keeping one another accountable, raising one another's kids and living life in one another's homes.

MISSIONS
Missions Budget
We have a budget designated solely for Missions. And, for the past few years, we have given over $100,000 to missional organizations, and that's something we are very proud of at CrossRoads. This is not a boast about the church as an organization, but about the people who
When giving to Missions, people have the opportunity to support any of the Approved Missions on our list simply by designating where you wish your donation to be sent on the Missions Envelope (envelopes provided at the church).
*The majority of our Approved Missions do not receive a reoccurring gift. Support is solely based on money designated for them by the individual members of the church. However, undesignated funds given to missions will be used to cover the designated monthly gifts we have committed to Dustin & Bethany, Easter Dominican Christian Missional and Deloris Norman with G.O. Ministries.

RECEIVE DEDICATED MONTHLY SUPPORT
- Eastern Dominican Christian Mission |
Each year, our Missions Team dedicates a Sunday to "Faith Promise." We ask the church, each individual family, to spend time in prayer asking God what He wants for them to give monetarily to Missions throughout the next twelve months. It is called Faith Promise because we are making a PROMISE to God that we are going to give what He is asking us to give with FAITH that God will provide the needed funds.
A message from the CrossRoads' Mission Team:
For Missions at CrossRoads we do not get a set amount from the general fund. Our money comes through your commitments designated during Faith Promise. There are a lot of missions that have had struggles in the recent past. Thanks to those of you that have FAITHFULLY supported missions we have not missed a beat, and we actually have been able to step up and give many of our Missions an additional financial gift.
As you look through the mission’s booklet, you will notice that we have added Vermilion Community Restoration (formerly Danville Rescue Mission & Day Spring) and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) to our list of missions that you can pledge support to. These are local missions that we had a number of members supporting and now you can support them through CrossRoads’ Missions.
For your pledge cards, please take the time to fill them out and return it no later than the last Sunday of September. We do ask that you pledge some of your money to 'UNDESIGNATED' so the Missions Team can cover the monthly commitments.
We have one mission that we support with $1000 each month, that is Eastern Dominican Mission (Ryan VandeLinde is the Executive Director who has preached here on multiple occasions). Please PRAY for each mission we support.
Thanks for all your SUPPORT!!!
