Well, it has finally started! We feel like this is something we have dreamt of for a while and to see it come to fruition is so exciting! We cannot wait to see how much the CHAOS and 4:12 Students love this area when it is completed. This renovation will allow the KidZone area to receive 2 more rooms and the Nursery to receive 1!

Renovations Week 5

Well, we have a door at the end of the office hall! This door will lead into the Chaos/4:12 student space. If you walk through this door and take an immediate right, you go through the double doors to the student Chapel area. The guys have been busy this week adding sheetrock to expand the wall all the way to the ceiling.
In pictures 3 & 4 you will see the Chapel area. The door is to a closet that will also be accessible from the main hall. The closet to the left will house items for Worship!

Renovations - Week 4

We have walls going up and doors being put in!
The double door you see in the first photo is the double door that was used to The Chapel. It's awesome that we get to reuse and repurpose items throughout this renovation.
The second and third photos are the entrance to the Student Chapel area (will have double doors) and the frames for the closets & stage area. 

Renovations - Week 3

During the middle of week 2 & starting into this week, McDowell Builders worked on putting up supports to continue the walls higher. Later in the week they have put up supports to make a new wall and closets in the new Student Chapel. Insulation is being added back to the top and sheetrock will be put in soon!

Renovations - Week 2

Most of the walls were out at the start of this week. They got the last bit of them down and are going to begin putting up walls to separate the student hang out area & student chapel in the new Chaos/4:12 rooms!

Renovations - Week 1

During this week the ceiling came out and the carpet came up. There is a new addition to the parking lot. A nice big red dumpster that will be there for a few weeks during demolition. We know it isn't ideal, but logistically this makes the most sense. On day 2 McDowell Builders Inc. was here bright and early to tear the rest of the carpet out. They then dismantled the stage and were able to get through the wall and create an opening to one of the old classrooms! Next the wall came out separating the classroom and the Chapel, the ceiling came out, and a hole was cut to the east classroom. On Thursday all the walls were down between the three rooms making one large area. We still have a couple walls to come down but it has been such a fun experience to watch unfold.
